Story

Two novellas set during World War II.

In the first story, shrewd “Dzidzius” Górkiewicz unintentionally becomes a hero during the Warsaw Uprising.

The second sketch details life inside a Prisoner of War camp. Reputable Lieutenant Zawistowski manages to escape captivity, but few people actually know that the soldier hides within the confines of the camp.
